Designer Lex Pott makes innovative use of wax’s innate flexibility with the Twist Tapered Candle. Crafted in their Rotterdam studio, the ingenious design abolishes the need for a candleholder entirely, as the twist of the candle’s middle section provides all the support the ends need. This stand-alone piece allows you to burn the candle at both ends, quite literally. The considered form allows it to perform as a sculpture unto itself, and it would make an excellent addition to a design-aficionado’s mantelpiece or dining display. The Twist Candle is crafted from paraffin wax and has an approximate burning time of 10 hours.
